Adrian Herrera. Benthos

Benthos investigates Posidonia oceanica as a living organism, an ecological archive, and a metaphor for the collective body, exploring through contemporary dance the relationships between interdependence, fragility, and resilience. Starting from the environmental problems affecting Mediterranean seagrass meadows, especially in Ibiza, the research focuses on translating ecological processes—balance, degradation, and regeneration—into the language of the body, generating a reflective performance experience.

Adrian Herrera. "Invertebrate Body" Movement Workshop

Invertebrate Body is a movement research methodology developed by choreographer Adrián Herrera within the Human Current project. The proposal explores the relationship between contemporary dance, biomechanics, and marine biology, investigating how the principles of organization, adaptation, and locomotion of invertebrate marine organisms can be applied to the human body to expand the possibilities of movement and stage creation.
