LATE NIGHT OPENING OF OUR HERITAGE
The most emblematic heritage sites, monuments, and museums of our cities come to life with guided tours, special lighting, and exclusive nighttime activities. Explore castles, cathedrals, palaces, and museums in a new light, discovering the richness and legacy of our historical heritage declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
ENJOY THE LIVING HERITAGE
THE HERITAGE NIGHT also highlights the intangible heritage of our 15 Cities, offering a varied cultural program. From concerts and dance performances to theatrical shows, family activities, and events for young audiences, each city presents a packed agenda for all tastes. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant cultural life of our cities and discover their local talents.
HERITAGE AS A STAGE FOR DANCE
Our cities stand out as references for cultural decentralization and support for contemporary creation, inviting each year artists from the world of dance and live arts at the national and international levels. To date, more than 100 choreographers have had the opportunity to create unique pieces in our heritage sites, continuously dialoguing with the heritage and territory of our communities, forming a laboratory for choreographic excellence and the intersection of diverse artistic territories.
PARTICIPATE IN WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES
THE HERITAGE NIGHT provides the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and educational activities. Both children and adults can enjoy craft workshops, culinary demonstrations, and family activities designed to foster knowledge and appreciation of our heritage.
A MORE ACCESSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE NIGHT
THE HERITAGE NIGHT is an inclusive and accessible event for everyone. Activities are adapted for people with reduced mobility, and sign language interpretation and easy-to-read materials are provided in many of our activities. We want everyone to enjoy this magical night.
Additionally, each year, our teams strive to make all activities more environmentally friendly and respectful of the heritage settings and historic centers of our cities.
A YOUNGER AND MORE DIVERSE NIGHT
We understand the importance of educating and raising awareness among new generations about their heritage, both tangible and intangible, inviting them to feel the heritage as their own and to propose activities designed by and for young people, considering all the diversities of our communities and territories.
THE HERITAGE NIGHT IN EUROPE AND LATIN AMERICA
This seventh edition will have even more visibility beyond our borders thanks to collaborative ties with the Associations of World Heritage Cities of Europe and Latin America and the support of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
